Listed below is the 2009-10 Budget Reduction Recommendation Presentation that was presented at the Monday, February 23, 2009 meeting.
Chilton High School announces its first induction class for the Chilton High School Wall of Honor. The five inductees for the class of 2009 are Gail Rusch, Patricia Jehn (Freidel), Thomas Dhein, John Freidel and Tracy (Schmotzer) Winkler.

Chilton High School will enact a new policy regarding requests for copies of high school transcripts. Please note that this new process is not for current students.
Effective March 2, 2009 transcript requests must be accompanied by a completed transcript request form and payment. Official transcripts are $3.00 per copy with checks being made payable to Chilton Public Schools. Transcript requests must come from the student/former student. Requests from a third party will be processed only with written permission from the student/former student. Procedures and transcript request forms are available at Chilton High School and also on the school web site. No transcript requests will be accepted via e-mail.

Registration of classes for the 2009-10 Chilton High School begins in early February. To help in the planning, the new CHS registration course description guide, the 2009-10 KSCADE course guide, parent-student registration information and the timeline are now available in PDF format. For parents of 8th graders, please review the slides from the Powerpoint orientation . Along with the the 4-year plan worksheet, there are now grade-specific worksheets for all those presently in 8th grade , 9th grade , 10th grade , and 11th grade.

SCHOOL CALENDAR CHANGE
JANUARY 23rd will be a full instructional day for all students. Students are to report to their regularly scheduled classes.
2008-2009 School Calendar Change
Monday, February 2, 2009 will be an Early Release Day for students. Students will be released according to the following schedule:
Elementary students: 12:25 p.m.
Middle School students: 12:25 p.m.
High School students: 12:45 p.m.
The February 2 Early Release day will take the place of the May 19, 2009 Early Release Day. As a result of this change in schedule, May 19, 20009 will be a full instructional day for students.

At the beginning of the school year, your student tends to come home with a lot of information that requires you to fill out forms, one of which is the “Free and Reduced Price School Meals Family Application.” The School District of Chilton would like to remind families that you can complete this form any time during the school year.
